Spring Woods: Styled Wedding Shoot

We braved the cold, rain, and hail last weekend for this styled-wedding shoot, and it was worth it!

Photographer Gina Ayanna for Beautiful Images Photography gathered a group of talented folk, which included Richelle Hamilton, Kate Easterbrook Mua, Brenda Foremen, and Botany Floral Studio.

It was shot on location at Rosetta McClain Gardens in Toronto. Enjoy!

For me, this has to be one of my favourite wedding bouquets ever, because of its' not-so-typical colour scheme and all the little details ...

This styled wedding shoot was inspired by woodsy and antique vessels, pops of colour, and springtime renewal. The dewy weather gives a picturesque English-garden aesthetic that fits the wedding theme perfectly!

We choose a colour palette {peaches, yellows, and oranges} that is hugely popular this wedding season. We wanted to add unexpected elements of nature with vintage style.

To do this, we used wooden logs and moss-like greenery, antique pedestals and mason jars, along with dutch-inspired floral design. The large showpiece - a wooden log we used as a vessel featuring flowers and succulents tucked amongst greenery and fillers, with dutch tulips styled loosely as if naturally growing out from the arrangement. There is even a birds nest tucked in highlighting springtime and woodsy themes.

The antique pedestal adorning the table features flowers styled more loosely giving it a Dutch-inspired look.

The mason jars with yellow crocheted covers are filled with a mix of springtime blooms.

Some more shots from the day ...
