Real Wedding: The Doctor's House, Kleinburg
For Kenzie and Nick's wedding at The Doctor's House, we used a mix of soft romantic blooms and lush greenery, complimented with clear glassware and lots of pillar candles to twinkle all night.
Kenzie's bouquet included a layering of garden roses, roses, dahlias, ranunculus, lisianthus, astilbe, Queen Anne's lace, silver dollar eucalyptus, Italian ruscus, ferns and farm-foraged foliage.
At the ceremony, we lined the aisle at the chapel with mixed foliage arrangements, which were later repurposed along the base of the Head Table with groupings of candles. Oversized floral arrangements in cement urns displayed tons of roses, lisianthus, silver dollar eucalyptus, farm-foraged foliage, and touches of Queen Anne's lace. They were elevated on cement pedestals at both ceremony and reception.
We played with levels using different heights of cylinder vases with taupe pillar candles and placed these amongst the arrangements at the Head Table and on their Guest Tables. Mixed foliage and florals were draped along the Head Table, reaching down for the lower arrangements at ground level. And we placed mixed floral arrangements in gold compotes on their Guest Tables.
Overhead, lush foliage was draped on the chandeliers throughout the room at the reception.
